I have a total of 7 years of experience, primarily in accounting and finance. My salary progression has been from ₹3 LPA to ₹6.5 LPA, and I am currently based in Gujarat, India. While I feel satisfied with my growth, I want to ensure that my compensation aligns with industry standards in Gujarat for someone with my experience and responsibilities. Could you please share insights or suggestions on whether this salary range is competitive for my role and location? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Mere hisab se toh salary range of ₹6.5 LPA seems a bit on the lower side for industry standards especially for mid level roles in larger companies

For 7 years of experience 6.5 LPA seems fair in Gujarat but in larger companies or MNC you might aim for 7-8 LPA Adding certifications like CMA or ACCA can help you negotiate a better package. Are you considering upskilling?

Notice Period Issues

My new employer wants me to join by 8th Jan, my current employer is not leaving me till 24th which is a long time.I requested them to reduce notice period but they denied, what should I do?Can I join new company will 2 weeks are left to complete notice period in current company? can new company know about this?
