If your offer letter says 2 months' notice, technically, you’re required to serve it unless your employer agrees to a shorter period. But if it’s really not working out for you, maybe you can negotiate the notice period. Have you had a conversation with your manage... see more

Oof, that’s a tough one...Since your offer letter specifies a 2 month notice, you might be legally bound to serve it. But it doesn’t hurt to have a candid conversation with HR and explain why you're considering leaving early. Maybe they’ll agree to a shorter notice... see more

Since the notice period is mentioned in your offer letter, legally, you might have to stick to it. But sometimes companies are flexible if you explain your situation. Have you considered talking to HR about it?

you’ll need to check if your offer letter has any flexibility in case of early departure. You could also try negotiating with your manager or HR for a shorter notice period if you have another offer lined up.

If your notice period is 2 months, you might be expected to serve it, but it depends on your company policies. Try having a discussion with HR and explain your reasons...it could lead to a shorter notice period. How’s the work environment there for you?

You could try talking to your manager or HR to explain your reasons for wanting to leave early. Sometimes, companies are flexible depending on the situation. Are you planning on transitioning to something else already?

Try explaining your situation to HR....they might be open to negotiating the notice period, especially if they can find a replacement soon.

The 2 month notice is pretty standard in contracts, but it’s always worth talking to HR to see if they’re open to letting you leave early. Sometimes, employers can be flexible if you have valid reasons. Have you started job hunting?

It’s worth having a chat with HR about your concerns...sometimes they’re more flexible than we think.
