Typically, notice periods are non-negotiable, but being on the bench might give you more flexibility. Have you checked with your HR about the possibility?

If you're on the bench, you may have some leeway to shorten the notice period. It's best to have an open conversation with your manager about the situation. Have you already started the job search?

You can try negotiating with HR and explain that you already have an offer. Any tips from others who've done this successfully?

It’s possible to negotiate, especially since you’re on the bench. Try showing that your early release won’t affect current projects. Any idea what you want to do first once you get that offer?

approach HR with a solution-oriented mindset...maybe offer to help transition things smoothly. What’s the role you’re eyeing

Totally get where you're coming from..Being on the bench should give you some room to negotiate. Have a polite chat with your manager or HR and explain the situation. Fingers crossed.

I’ve been in a similar situation! You can always negotiate. Try offering a transition plan to show you’ll leave things in good hands.

You may have a chance to reduce your notice period if you're on the bench, but it’ll depend on your company’s policies. Have you considered mentioning how you can help ease the transition to your team?

HR might be more lenient if you're on the bench, but it’s all about how you approach them. What’s your negotiation strategy? Are you going for a salary bump with the new offer?
