Need advice whether to quit or continue
My salary is currently 7 LPA, this year's hike is probably 14% or less. I am having 6 years of work experience in which 2+ years of experience in VBA developer. I have worked really hard and pushed way beyond to complete the tasks. The company's policy is like 90 days notice. If I quit now, they won't give me the hike and the 3 months of notice won't be included for bonus as well. It's really pressuring here and I travel 30 km everytime to office. Please advise me what to do. Thank you 🙏

30 km ka daily travel + 90 days ka notice period? Bhai, ye toh double torture ho gaya! 😩 Koi hybrid ya remote ka option nahi hai kya?

Given your 6 years of experience, a salary of 7 LPA with a 14% hike seems below market standards. Have you considered looking at industry benchmarks?

Notice periods are always tricky. If you quit now, would your savings be enough to sustain you while you find another job?

@sleekchapati honestly no it won't. Kind of locked up in the situation.

If the notice period and bonus are the only factors stopping you, try securing an offer where they’re willing to buy out your notice period.

@fashionabledodo in my team neither the HR nor the manager seems helpful.

What’s your long-term career goal? Maybe that can help in deciding whether to stay or move on.
