I have just changed jobs a few months back and have had a horrid experience with my last company due to which I settled for a lower than expected hike. I want to plan out my next 2 years and want to increase my salary by at-least 100% in the process. I have a mba and currently working as a scrum master / project manager.

Currently I'm working in cognizant, and having 3.4 yoe in DevOps aligned with SRE tools and technologies like monitoring, production release call support.

Now, I'm planning to switch but my current organisation has 3 months on notice period, please suggest to me which company is better to apply for, because I'm getting calls but no one accepted 3 months notice period. And my current CTC is 6.7lpa what would fair ask for next switch.

Day to Day Office

My manager made this WhatsApp group called 'Weight Loss Group' out of the blue. He just announced it on a call and boom, there it was. He wanted us to post our weight like, pictures of our feet on the scale twice a week. He'd even tag us in our regular work chat to remind us. It was super strange. Thing is, our team's never talked about weight loss before. One of my coworkers asked if we could do it just once a week, but the manager said no. It didn't feel optional at all, since we were just added without any say. I'm wondering if this is normal. Do other teams do this?

Mandatory Weight Loss Group at Work

I have been working in this company for 4.5 years. Joined at 2.2LPA. With small small hikes, at the 3 year mark, I reached 6.25LPA. After that I have never received any hike. They only changed my designation from Senior to Specialist. And that too I have not received any formal mail, just a notification from the internal portal. I am about to resign as I got a new job. Before I leave should I push for a formal hike and promotion, so that I can negotiate better for the upcoming HR round with the new employer? 

My expectation was 10LPA. But the new employer mentioned the offer would be around 7 to 7.5LPA as 10 is a higher hike percentage, and something like it's against company policy. What should I do here?

Haven't received a hike and promotion in 1.5 years. About to resign. Should I ask for a formal hike and promotion before I leave?
