Multiple offers scenario
How do people handle the awkward situation after having multiple offers? Do you say no to companies with offer that you won't join via mail or call? About how many days before joining the chosen company? Any tips?

I've been there. What I did was, I made sure to send a polite email to each company I wasn't going with. Just a simple, 'Thank you, but I've accepted another offer.' Don't ghost them, that's just rude. And honestly, how many offers are you juggling?

Don’t ghost them!
Companies remember these things and you might want to apply again in the future

People mess this up so badly. Look, they're not your friends. They're business. So, be professional. Email's fine, but if you've been working with a hiring manager, a quick call shows you're not a flake. And do it immediately after you've made your decision. Don't leave them hanging.

I want to know, what is your deciding factor? Is it purely money, or is there something else that tipped the scales? Because that's what companies need to know

No awkwardness
It’s part of the hiring game, just be polite thank them for the offer and move on

I once delayed rejecting an offer and they kept calling me daily
Just be upfront and let them know ASAP to avoid unnecessary follow ups

Don’t reject offers until you have your preferred one in writing
Verbal offers can fall through
