I'm from Mumbai I got offer in MNC engineering company in Hyderabad which is double than current, 9LPA to 16LPA, I have stayed in Mumbai for 20yr and settled with family, now relocation getting tougher decision for me, but due to paypack and good role in big company i have thinked for moving any one can suggest on this move, but in meantime I hv chance of receiving new offer of 12LPA and it will be remote, plz suggest

Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview.

1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining.

2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon

3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too.

4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year.

I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

The girl isn’t working, unsure if she will, and her family demands a lavish wedding we can’t afford....we’re even taking loans for it. I begged to postpone, but no one listens.

I asked her to cancel she refuses. She ignores my calls but sweet talks my family, even lying that we’re getting along. We’re complete opposites in lifestyle, values, and personality.
