I hope you’re doing well. I’m an Application Support Engineer with 4+ years of experience in the insurance domain. My previous salary was ₹3.45 LPA, and I left my job in October due to family reasons.

Currently, I’m actively looking for a new role in support but facing rejections. My skills include SQL (Intermediate), Python scripting, and Linux commands, though I didn’t get much exposure to a diverse tech stack in my previous roles.

I would really appreciate your guidance on what skills or certifications I can acquire to improve my chances and secure a job. If possible, I’d love to connect over any medium you’re comfortable with.

Will this recent termination effect my future career?  So I have worked with this company its not even been 6 months they terminated me just before completing my probation period 2 days left for my probation to complete they terminated me before that immediately, will I get a relieving letter ? What should I do ? If I dont get relieving letter can I join other companies without relieving letter ? Should I ask them ?

I have been terminated in a day without any prior Notice what should I do ?

I’ve been working at a small startup for the past 3 years, with just 3 other employees and my boss. I sit right in front of her, and over time, we became close, almost like siblings. I automated a lot of my tasks, so my work became pretty straightforward...I just input some variables here and there, and I’m done. Over the last year, my boss started asking me how I did all of that, and she wanted to learn it herself. Since we were so friendly, I didn’t think much of it and happily taught her everything I knew. This morning, she sat me down and told me that to cut costs, she needed to let me go and take over my role. She asked if I’d be willing to do a once a year consulting gig to check her work. I didn’t really know how to respond. She said it kindly, so I stayed calm and matched her tone, but now I feel like I’ve made a mistake, and I’m left without a job.

Hi All,
I'm so much confused in calculating my in hand salary by excluding the variable pay. Anyhow variable pay will have 30% tax directly on it. So by excluding If I calculate my monthly inhand using old and as well as new regime of 2025. 

I don't know which one to choose and which is best for me. Currently 80C is 1.5lakhs and 80D is 50k and Rent paid was around 75k help me to calculate in hand as per the above assumptions
