Job Experience and Salary Concern
I've been working as an Application Support Engineer for the past 2 years and 5 months. After completing my bond, I received a hike from ₹21,000 to ₹34,000, but I feel it’s still quite low compared to industry standards. Many of my peers with similar experience are earning ₹7-8 LPA, which makes me question my growth prospects.
I enjoy learning and have been upskilling in front-end development through online courses, but I’m unsure about the best way to transition into a higher-paying role. Should I focus on switching companies, improving technical skills, or looking for certifications that add more value?
Would appreciate any insights or guidance from experienced professionals!

What specific front-end technologies are you focusing on learning?

I've been in your shoes. Application support can be a good starting point, but it's often not the highest paying. Switching to front-end development is a smart move if that's where your passion lies.
