Evaluate the long-term growth prospects at your current job and compare them to the immediate financial benefits of the new offer.

Hey there,
That's a tough one! On one hand, you've got a good team and a supportive boss. On the other, a significant pay bump is hard to ignore.

Even though a 40% pay raise is a big deal, think about how much your current boss and super boss mean to you. Are they the kind of people who support you and help you grow?

switch for money if you are thick skinned & can tolerate any environment, any situation

[creativelatte](username) so true, i was about to write the exact same thing. if you have the guts to tolerate anything, then always go after the high paying one!

2 things :
1. Employees leave bosses, not jobs.
2. Peace of mind matters more than money.

Think about oppurtunities always there is a possibility of growth in current job. you can also discuss your hike in current job.
If you change to new job. think of these questions.
1. New does not guarantee new boss ?
2. If you dont like new work, you have to wait atleast a 2 years for next change. it wont look good back to back change.
3. Change atleast you have 70-100 percent hike. Because 30-40 percent can eat your salary based on location. Ex: 5 lak in Hyd equals 7.5 lak in bangalore.
If you confident atleast 2nd and 3rd points you can go a head. All the best :)

CHANGE YOUR JOB..
Sry for caps but it had to be highlighted.. at the end of the day, you're working for money.. if your bosses are so good, have a word with them and ask for a pay match basis competitors offer letter.
If they match then stay, else move. No negotiations. Period.
