a deputy manager
I have cleared my CA in Nov 2022 and worked at a CA firm for 14 Months at Rs. 8.20 LPA as an Audit Executive. Now I am working as a Deputy Manager F&A looking after Financial Reporting and Budgeting at Rs.12.50 LPA with my 1st year increment due in March-25. Would you guys kindly suggest me if I am on track both in terms of Financial & Professional growth, or am I lagging behind?

You’re doing above average, to be honest. You’ve made a solid move from an audit role into financial management and reporting. This will give you great exposure to key financial decision-making processes. Your salary jump is also good, especially with a guaranteed increment coming up.
For continued growth, it might be worth considering certifications like CFA or FRM, which could add more weight to your financial expertise. But overall, you seem to be moving at a healthy pace both financially and professionally. Keep pushing yourself to learn and grow!

But for the "buy out" to happen, HR needs something officially written from my manager that I do...
