Interhsip in Startups

I've been actively looking for internship opportunities in startups, particularly in the field of software development, but so far I haven't had much success through traditional applications like cold emails and LinkedIn job postings. If anyone has leads or advice on how to break into the startup ecosystem, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'm especially interested in gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced environments where I can contribute and learn. A bit about me: 4th-year Information Technology student at Mumbai University πŸŽ“ Experience in web development, machine learning, and full-stack development (MERN, Python, C++) πŸ’» Passionate about building scalable solutions and collaborating in agile environments 🌟 If you know of any startups looking for interns or have any advice on how to approach this differently, please feel free to reach out or drop a comment! Thanks in advance for your help πŸ™Œ

I suggest you to rather than applying through linkedin job posting, search for LinkedIn posts that are by people working at startups, and interacting with them through the posts' comment section. This has a higher chance of positive outcome. All the best.

You should make a list of the top Indian and international startups, and based on your skill set, check for job openings directly on their websites. Many people have been hired by startups through approaches other than traditional job portals. For instance, if you're particularly passionate about a specific company, you can showcase your college projects and tag the company and its recruiters in your posts in social media. This proactive approach might increase your chances of getting noticed and hired.

I would suggest that you should Try networking with people in the startup ecosystem, attending industry events, or reaching out to startup accelerators or incubators. They might have leads or mentorship programs. Good luck πŸ‘
