Are you open to exploring new roles in different industries, or do you want to stay in the same domain?

If a salary hike is your primary goal, switching might be the best option. A new job can easily get you a 50-80% jump, maybe even double.

Yaar, Staying in the same company for 5.6 years is great for stability, but salary growth often stagnates. Have you received decent hikes over the years?

Listen, If your company values you, they might match or at least offer a competitive raise if you bring up your concerns. Have you had any performance-based discussions about salary?

5.6 years is a long time in one company, and your experience should reflect in your salary. If internal growth opportunities are limited, switching can help you get a significant salary jump. Have you looked at current market trends for your role?

Maybe start applying and see what offers you get? You don’t have to switch unless the opportunity is truly better.

If switching feels risky, you can start by upskilling and applying passively to see where you stand. Have you considered negotiating a counteroffer with your current company?
