I have around 2+ YoE in graphic design, in my current job I get paid 2.7LPA in a tier 2 city (Home Town).

I have been thinking about switching with 1 and a quarter years in this company. What can I expect in Tier 1 city? And should I switch?

A switch to a Tier 1 city can be a great career move! Opportunities for better pay, networking, and exposure to bigger projects await, but make sure you factor in the higher living expenses.

In Tier 1, the rent will steal your salary, but at least you’ll get free Wi-Fi and some fancy chai latte options while designing!

in big cities, your salary might double, but so will the price of momos! That said, the exposure and opportunities you’ll gain will probably make it all worth it.

If your portfolio is strong, Tier 1 cities offer a lot of opportunities, but keep in mind the hustle is real. What kind of companies or roles are you aiming for?
