I am joined my current organization on 13 May 2024 now i get a offer from another company and they want i join before 20th Apr 2025(90 days' notice period). But if i leave current company before 1 year i need to repay all relocation allowance and joining Bonus. How i Tackle this situation ? any one who face same situation can help me

I’m 32M, working at [HCLTech](hcl-technologies) 60K in hand, with personal and home loans. My parents are forcing me into marriage due to societal pressure.

The girl isn’t working, unsure if she will, and her family demands a lavish wedding we can’t afford....we’re even taking loans for it. I begged to postpone, but no one listens.

I asked her to cancel she refuses. She ignores my calls but sweet talks my family, even lying that we’re getting along. We’re complete opposites in lifestyle, values, and personality.

I’ve tried everything even acting like a red flag but she won’t back out. Am I stuck? What should I do?

Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview.

1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining.

2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon

3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too.

4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year.

I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

Cctc - 27.4 (21.6 fixed + 5.8 variable)
Yoe - 10.7 years
Tech stack: .Net full stack + Azure PaaS

Cognizant offered around 42% hike on fixed component and gave 32LPA (30.5 fixed + 1.5 variable)

Got selected for HCL Tech (Henkel client) and LTIMindtree and expecting offers/HR discussion soon. Question is how much "Fixed component" should I ask them?

How much to expect

I have been working in this company for 4.5 years. Joined at 2.2LPA. With small small hikes, at the 3 year mark, I reached 6.25LPA. After that I have never received any hike. They only changed my designation from Senior to Specialist. And that too I have not received any formal mail, just a notification from the internal portal. I am about to resign as I got a new job. Before I leave should I push for a formal hike and promotion, so that I can negotiate better for the upcoming HR round with the new employer? 

My expectation was 10LPA. But the new employer mentioned the offer would be around 7 to 7.5LPA as 10 is a higher hike percentage, and something like it's against company policy. What should I do here?

Haven't received a hike and promotion in 1.5 years. About to resign. Should I ask for a formal hike and promotion before I leave?

Day by day i am getting more frustrated. I was hired as content Writer but now i am working on behalf of 3 people one content Writer + manager + e-commerce executive because executive above me left his job. 

So basically now i handle designers + writers their work sheets, tasks management, client emails, client changes, client calls and everything of content.  Though when asked for raise, ceo says its your job only you are not doing anything extra. 

I want to quit this so bad but financially i cant. And i am not even getting remote opportunities in content writing so i think i am doomed. This is dead end now.
