I’m 32M, working at [HCLTech](hcl-technologies) 60K in hand, with personal and home loans. My parents are forcing me into marriage due to societal pressure.

The girl isn’t working, unsure if she will, and her family demands a lavish wedding we can’t afford....we’re even taking loans for it. I begged to postpone, but no one listens.

I asked her to cancel she refuses. She ignores my calls but sweet talks my family, even lying that we’re getting along. We’re complete opposites in lifestyle, values, and personality.

I’ve tried everything even acting like a red flag but she won’t back out. Am I stuck? What should I do?

Hi everyone, I’ve been working in Accounts Receivable (AR) for 3 years and am currently pursuing CMA US. I want to transition into core finance roles like financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Seeking Advice on Transitioning from AR to Core Finance Roles

Day by day i am getting more frustrated. I was hired as content Writer but now i am working on behalf of 3 people one content Writer + manager + e-commerce executive because executive above me left his job. 

So basically now i handle designers + writers their work sheets, tasks management, client emails, client changes, client calls and everything of content.  Though when asked for raise, ceo says its your job only you are not doing anything extra. 

I want to quit this so bad but financially i cant. And i am not even getting remote opportunities in content writing so i think i am doomed. This is dead end now.

These days, everyone seems to want to quit their job and start a business. But I actually enjoy my 9-5.....it gives stability, a fixed salary and peace of mind.

I get that being your own boss sounds exciting, but isn’t it also stressful? What do you think? Why do so many people want to leave?🤔

I’m in a bit of a tricky situation and could use some advice. My boss is supportive, kind, and overall a great person to work for. Recently, he asked if I could occasionally drop his wife off on my way home since their house is along my route. He also mentioned that I could leave a bit earlier to accommodate this, which is a nice bonus.

While I don’t mind helping out, I’m torn about the personal aspect of it. On one hand, it’s a small favor, and he’s been really supportive of me, but I’m unsure if this might blur any professional boundaries.

What’s your take? Should I keep helping with the rides, or is this something I should reconsider to maintain a clear work-life balance?
