No issues, connect with you manager and convey this situation : you've been on bench without any projects and you've got another opportunity as well. In this case, there's a high chance your current employe will relieve you within few days.

Don't resign from your current company yet. It's important to have a job before leaving your current one. If you resign and then don't get the new job, you'll be out of work.

Let your current manager know about the new offer and ask for their feedback. Be upfront with the new company about your current situation.

Should I Take the Risk?
I have a crush on a coworker who's higher up and earns more😅We work in different departments, and while she is two years younger than me, she belongs to a higher pay grade of employees who earn almost twice as much as I do, although we do almost similar work. Do you have any tips on how to approach her without making things awkward?

I know people who work for even more hours, travel 30-40km daily, listen to their boss daily, and still earn less than this!
