Career Advice
I am a 2024 electronics engineering graduate. Working at one of the big4 as senior analyst where my fixed is 5lpa with 4.5 months of experience.
The thing is I love coding, development and want to target product based companies. For the switch I am also practicing DSA.
I just want some advice that how should I get calls for interview cause even after applying in many companies, I am not getting any reply.
The Problem is with resume or with my experience I don't know.
Would really appreciate your advices and suggestions on how should I move ahead
Thanks in advance.

The problem could be your resume. Make sure it showcases your technical skills, projects, and achievements. Keep it concise and tailored for the role you’re applying for. You can also use platforms like AngelList, HackerRank, or referral-based hiring to increase your chances.

Your experience isn’t a problem; many companies look for skills over tenure. Work on a strong portfolio, and leverage platforms like LeetCode, GitHub, or personal websites to showcase your coding prowess. Be persistent it takes time.

It’s all about patience. You’re practicing DSA, which is great. But also remember to build a strong portfolio of projects, especially ones using trending tech stacks.

Bro, 4.5 months in Big4 is a great start! Just keep grinding on DSA and build some solid projects. And yes, a good resume is key make sure it screams ‘developer material’!

If you’re not getting callbacks, it might not just be your resume but also your application strategy. Focus on customizing your resume for each role, target startups to gain product-based experience, and follow up on applications through LinkedIn.

Maybe start small target startups or mid-level companies where they’re more flexible with experience. Once you get in, you’ll find your way to the big product-based giants!
