If I got an offer letter form like max life insurance company after clearing all rounds of interview and submitting my documents to the HR team. I changed my mind to not the organization due to personal or any other reason may be included salary and career growth etc. not joined also big companies. They can blacklist a candidate I'm confused that's the thing companies can do. If someone has an idea or knows what HR or management does. Please share your experience and feedback

I don’t think you’ll get blacklisted for declining an offer especially if you haven’t signed anything yet

It’s normal to have second thoughts about joining a company. But as long as you havent signed the contract, they usually don’t blacklist. Anyone here faced a similar situation?

Blacklisting is rare unless it's a very niche industry or a repeated offense. Did you communicate your decision clearly to HR? That’s important.

As long as you handled the situation professionally, most companies won’t make it a big deal. How did you inform them?

Max Life might be disappointed, but blacklisting is not common for such cases. Just ensure you maintain a respectful tone while declining.

If you informed them timely and respectfully, there’s nothing to fear. Did they ask you why you declined?

It’s always better to back out before joining than regret later. How did you explain your decision?
