Becoming a Person of Influence

Do your colleagues listen when you suggest a new idea? Do they seek out your opinion? Does your boss respect your recommendations and take you seriously when you argue for a new approach? Do people in other areas of the business know and respond well to your work with them? In other words, are you a person of Influence in your organization?

Being a person of influence doesn’t always mean having the loudest voice; it's about building trust through consistent, thoughtful contributions. If people respect your ideas and value your opinion, you're already on the right path.

Great question! Influence comes from consistently adding value, building strong relationships, and leading by example. If people turn to you for insights, you’re already ahead!

Influence is built over time through relationships and results. If your colleagues and boss seek out your input, it’s a clear sign that you’re making an impact, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. what do you think?
