A hiring scam - I think !!

The org AskmeOffers is playing a hiring scam now. I had applied for a position there, and after 1 week got an update to complete an assessment, ofcourse I did it and that was it no further update afterwards. The assessment was a bit sketchy, it was : install their extension and use it on a specific website and list out all the issues that I found, list any enhancements that can be done on the extension. Now today, I again got an email regarding complete the assessment, now its another link where I should install the extension and use it , and thats it. It seems like getting their work done with the candidates time.

When i was pursuing PGDM , a Company named Talent Serve came for Campus placements and It was unfortunate that it turned out to be a scam. They were pressuring their employees to participate in crowdfunding activities. Corporate scams are becoming more common.

I dont think you should do it using your personal or professional laptop. It not safe to do so. Downloading software for assessment you should not buy this stuff !! Have you deleted that software/extension from your system ?

I would suggest NO tasks that involve installing software or providing personal information can be risky.

Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is. It's always better to be cautious than sorry.

Just checked their company page, all reviews are 5 star ones.. Atleast should've put some efforts to make themselves look believable
