Toxic Work Environment with No Growth and Exploitative Practices There’s a lot to dislike about this company, starting with the toxic hierarchy. People in higher positions lack skills and cling to their roles, blocking opportunities for others to grow. Promotions are extremely slow because of this. The EMT team, especially the manager, fostered a very negative work environment. I recall one instance where he threatened an employee, saying, "I can get someone like you for ₹30,000 and throw you out anytime." Such behavior was completely unprofessional and demotivating. Another manager was notorious for harassing employees, especially women. He would manipulate their personal struggles and emotions to get work done. Many female colleagues had to tolerate his inappropriate behavior because they couldn’t afford to lose their jobs due to household pressures. On top of this, there was no culture of knowledge sharing. Employees who had some expertise were rude and refused to guide others. They would say things like, "You can’t do this, only I can," just to maintain their importance. This lack of collaboration made the work environment even more frustrating. The company also showed no empathy for employees. Night shifts were assigned continuously for 2-3 months without consideration for personal challenges. Leaves for emergencies or critical health issues were denied. Even when I was hospitalized and requested work-from-home, it was rejected, citing a nonexistent "company policy," as confirmed by HR. The only positive aspect was the pick-up and drop facility in Noida. Overall, the work culture is toxic, exploitative, and unprofessional.
