Niki offers an eponymous AI-based virtual shopping assistant that communicates with users in their preferred language and helps to complete financial transactions. It allows the user to activate the chatbot by typing "Hi Niki" post which a series of questions are asked for taking down the order details and getting it fulfilled by the respective merchant. Some of the tasks the chatbot is capable of fulfilling include bus and taxi bookings, hotel reservations, mobile & landline bill payments, home services & utility payments like power and gas, among others. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. As of 2019, the assistant supports Hindi and English and plans to add seven major regional languages. Niki earns a percentage fee for every transaction made via its partners.
