For this purpose, Lundbeck is engaged in the research, development, manufacturing, marketing and sale of pharmaceuticals across the world. The company’s products are targeted at the disease areas within psychiatry and neurology.
Our foundation is built on our great people and unique culture, which will enable us to succeed. On 14 August 1915, Hans Lundbeck founded a company in Copenhagen, Denmark.The first employee that he hired, a young lady who was a multiannual Danish champion in typewriting, later became his wife and founder of the Lundbeck Foundation.
Our approximately 5,000 employees in more than 50 countries are engaged in the entire value chain throughout research, development, production, marketing, and sales. Our pipeline consists of several R&D programs and our products are available in more than 100 countries. We have research centers in Denmark and California and our production facilities are located in Denmark, France, and Italy.
