I had joined impetus in June 2022. There, i would be working for 12-15 hours each day . So, out of frustration, I decided to put paper in order to get some time to prepare for interviews elsewhere as it was practically not possible to prepare while being in a project there. The worst part was i got a call from HR and she told me that the next day was my last working day. They didn't even let me serve my notice period. Impetus wasn't this bad during the time of my joining that is around two years back but the current environment is the worst something can be. Projects are of short duration i.e., for 2-3 months, 15-16 hours of work, can't even get your sleep hours so forget about work life balance. People put paper out of frustration and even then the inhumanity takes over and they would force you to leave immediately without having to serve the notice period.
