Lead Software Engineer - System Design (6-10 yrs)

At Anakin, the Lead Engineer will own, solve problem statements, and derive solutions that enable us to productize our solution, find out ways to automate workflows to bring out efficiencies, and mentor engineers to do their best. If you are someone who likes to work with an early-age startup that is building a SAAS product from scratch and is solving customers' data-related challenges, this is an amazing opportunity.

Responsibilities :

- Understand the team's technical requirements and explore potential architectural approaches, leveraging your expertise in Anakin's product ecosystem.

- Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, mentoring engineers through all phases, including design, implementation, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

- Oversee key components and modules, managing their lifecycle from conceptualization, development, and integration to deployment and iterative enhancements.

- Adopt and promote engineering best practices, such as code optimization and modular architecture.

- Collaborate on designing and developing innovative features and products for pricing optimization solutions.

- Ensure compliance with engineering workflows and processes while maintaining the highest product quality standards.

- Drive engineering projects from inception through delivery, ensuring timely and successful execution.

- Analyze performance metrics and system data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to the engineering team, fostering growth and innovation.

- Review the work of peers (code, architecture) and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistency and high standards.

- Create well-structured documentation to enable seamless onboarding and task execution for team members.

Requirements :

- B. Tech/M. Tech in engineering or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 2 years in a mentoring / managing role.

- The ability to own end-to-end responsibility right from the requirement to release.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Expertise in system design.

Our current tech stack :

- Python /Java /NodeJS /TypeScript.

- AWS - (EC2 S3 SQS, Lambda, ECR & ECS).

- Database - Postgres/Any SQL database, MongoDB.

- GCP - BigQuery.

- CI/CD - (Jenkins, Docker) - JIRA & Confluence.

You would be a great fit if you have :

- Web crawling/Scraping knowledge.

- Good experience in reverse engineering.

- Django/Flask, Redis, Kubernetes.
