Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness for our cloud infrastructure .
What you ll do as Cloud E ngineer :

AWS Platform:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Optimize costs by using AWS cost management tools and strategies, including the use of reserved instances.
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions to meet business requirements.
- Ensure AWS services are cost-effective and perform well.
Generative AI & LLM Models:
- Develop and manage AI models and use GPUs for AI/ML tasks.
Kubernetes:
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Follow best practices for running and monitoring Kubernetes clusters.
Cloud Networking & Security:
- Design and manage secure cloud networks.
- Use Prisma Cloud or similar tools to keep cloud systems secure.
- Conduct regular posture checks using Prisma to ensure compliance and security.
Operations & Ticket Handling:
- Oversee cloud operations to ensure they run smoothly.
- Handle support tickets and resolve issues quickly.
Scripting and Automation:
- Write scripts using Python, Terraform, and other scripting languages to automate cloud tasks.
- Use scripting to improve system efficiency and reduce manual work.
What you will bring to the team:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, especially with AWS.
- Experience with AI models and using GPUs.
- Strong skills in Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security, especially with Prisma Cloud.
- Experience conducting posture checks with Prisma.
- Expertise in AWS cost optimization and the use of reserved instances.
- Good problem-solving skills and experience with support tickets.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Python and Terraform for scripting and automation.
- Good Understanding of ITIL process like Incident Management, Change Management, Availability Management etc.
- Proven experience in team handling or mentoring junior engineers.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
- Experience with other scripting languages like PowerShell or Ansible.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.
