Job Description
Job Title: Energy Transition Strategist for the Oil & Gas Industry
Department: Energy Transformation and Strategy Division
Location: Flexible (with potential travel to energy hubs, project sites, andstakeholder meetings)
Job Type: Full-time
Role Summary:
As an Energy Transition Strategist in our Oil & Gas Industry division, youwill lead initiatives to navigate the industrys transformation towardssustainable energy solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in shapingstrategies, fostering collaborations, and ensuring our clients and projectsalign with global energy transition objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Energy landscape Analysis: Assess the evolving energy landscape, including renewables,electrification, hydrogen, and carbon capture technologies, to determine theirrelevance and impact on the oil & gas sector.
Strategic Transition Planning: Develop and implement strategies to transition traditional oil &gas operations towards more sustainable and diversified energy portfolios.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish partnerships with energy companies, technology providers,governments, and NGOs to leverage expertise, resources, and innovativesolutions for sustainable energy transitions.
Market Positioning: Advise on strategies to enhance market competitiveness, sustainabilitycredentials, and stakeholder relationships amidst the energy transition.
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and address potential risks associated with energy transitioninitiatives, including regulatory changes, market dynamics, and environmentalconsiderations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal teams, clients, investors, and industrystakeholders to advocate for sustainable energy practices, fostercollaboration, and promote industry alignment.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor the progress and impact of energy transition initiatives,providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to drive continuousimprovement and accountability.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Energy Management,Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in energy transitionstrategy development and implementation, preferably within the oil & gas orrelated industries.
Comprehensive understanding of theglobal energy landscape, sustainability trends, and emerging technologiesrelevant to the energy transition.
Strong analytical, strategic planning,and project management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation,and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to travel as required forindustry conferences, stakeholder meetings, project evaluations, and sitevisits.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks,environmental policies, and sustainability standards related to energytransition in the oil & gas industry is a plus.
