Piping Stress Engineer (Caesar II)

Role and Responsibility

1. Modelling & analysis of piping systems using CAESAR II for all types of critical piping system and process equipment like columns, compressors, exchanger, pump, boiler, reactor, vessel, air fin cooler etc. with respect to their functional requirement.
2. Piping Stress Analysis for column, compressor, exchanger, pump, boiler, reactor, vessel, air fin cooler connected piping, packages, jacketed lines, FRP lines, two phase lines, etc.
3. Modelling of all piping components with respect to input & functional requirement.
4. Creating & modify unit file of CAESAR II
5. Creating & modifying MOC database.
6. Review of all input parameters in CAESAR II.
7. Preparation of Special pipe support & expansion below data sheet.
8. Preparation of critical line list.
9. Participating in meetings with client for stress analysis related discussion & getting approval on the same. 
10. Ensure delivery of error free documents by proper review & checking of documents 

Skills and Competencies

1. Knowledge of Piping code & standard.
2. Knowledge of Piping supports type, function & its utilization available in CAESAR II database.
3. Familiarity with various piping components such as pipes, flanges, valves, fittings, gaskets, and supports.
4. Experience modelling & analysis in CAESAR II software.
5. Expertise in using tools like Navisworks for checking pipe route & support requirements.
6. Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics, which are critical for installation and fabrication.
7. Comprehensive understanding of industry code & standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, DIN, IS) to ensure compliance in design and material selection.
