Responsible for static analysis of critical piping systems connected to various static and rotating equipment
Conversant with modeling of all piping hardware for pipe stress analysis like spring hangers, trunnion offset modeling, expansion joint, and equipment modeling.
Flange leakage check as per Peq method, NC 3658.3, ASME viii div 1 app 2.
Calculations of PSV reaction force & trunnion calculations & re-pad calculation.
Design of special pipe supports standard pipe supports & selection of hanger & designing as per client specification.
Providing pipe supporting lines with two-phase flow regimes, slug flow regimes, and lines susceptible to vibrations and blast. checking & review of critical piping support types & locations.
Generating piping loads for structural design.
Visual clearances of non-critical piping systems, span calculations, and expansion loop requirements.
Static stress analysis of non-metallic piping system.
Selection of stress critical lines as per stress design basis, identification of stress systems.
Preparation of critical system identification referring to p&id and process line list.
Interacting with the civil structural/clients for finalizing anchor locations on the pipe rack.
Responsible for analysis lines running pipe rack and expansion loop length calculation.
Reviewing equipment vendor gads and commenting on drawings for necessary information
Coordination with designers, engineers & checkers on routing & any other necessary support required during the project execution.
Reviewing the 3d model in Navis simulation.
Co-coordinating with the design team for problem-solving of critical and non-critical lines and validation of trunnion support and design.
Responsible for issuing stress markups iso-metrics and support loads.
