Job Description
- ETL Development (Informatica PowerCenter): Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from source systems to the Teradata data warehouse
- Teradata Database Management: Perform database-related tasks within Teradata, including creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, and managing data structures for optimal performance
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Create detailed data mapping specifications to ensure accurate data transformation within Informatica PowerCenter
- Implement data cleansing, validation, and transformation rules
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for performance and efficiency
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data integration workflows
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, SQL scripts, and Teradata database configurations
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- : Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and business rules
- Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
