ETL Developer (SQL, PLSQL, Informatica & Sourcing data from DWH to OFSAA staging)
We work for multiple clients with a presence across the globe. We work in the Banking and Financial Services domain and are one of the industry-leading solution providers for the Client. We handle the enhancements to the existing platform/Services to cater to the growing business needs based on industry trends, either functionally or technically and provide innovative solution offerings.
The solution involves offering core banking surround services and enhancements.
- We are looking for ETL Informatica- Technology Specialists who will work on the delivery of key initiatives including Finance Technology Projects and application enhancements that influence the bank s management decision-making process, and regulatory reporting (which can influence financial/non-financial penalties) and MIS reporting.
- Perform full SDLC life cycle work, including analysis, design, development, enhancement, testing, maintenance, and technical support for this project.
- Optimize the processes and automate the ETL Workflow monitoring and exception handling.
- The focus is also to evaluate the integration of various data sources like Oracle, SQL server and sequential files into the staging area and recommends and/or implements efficiencies also Perform data analysis, data mapping, data loading, and data validation, reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
- Support other ETL developers; providing mentoring, technical assistance, fix and alternative development solutions, also experience in Oracle Database using SQL and PL/SQL.
- OFSAA DL specification knowledge
- Prior experience in OFSAA surround services project
Key Result Areas
- Performs technical walk-through as needed to communicate design/coded solution and to seek input from team members.
- Develop ETL processes using Informatica, ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc.
- Implement data cleanup procedures, transformations, scripts, stored procedures, and execution of test plans for loading the data successfully into the targets.
- Enterprise-level ETL development and ETL architecture using Informatica and understanding/ using file structures.
- PLSQL technical knowledge is critical
- Perform performance tuning and work end-to-end lifecycle using Enterprise-wide data warehouse.
- Exposure to Banking and Finance Domain is a must
- Knowledge of OFSAA data model /DL specs
Your Opportunity
You will apply your extensive knowledge of designing and maintaining workflow codes using the Informatica tool to convert the business requirements into deployable code. You would be responsible for the entire development life cycle viz., the development until production implementation.
Your Qualifications
- Any Computer Science-based graduation [BE/B Tech/MCA]
- 3-5 years in software development
- Hands-on development experience in Informatica tool
- Experience in Banking Domain, OFSAA DL Specs
- Good understanding of DWH concepts and implementation
- Good analytical skills and presentation skills
- Superb Communication Skills
Our Ideal Candidate
- Must have skills
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Experience in Informatica ETL Tool
- Hands-on experience in extraction of data from DWH to OFSAA staging area
- Experience in a data warehousing environment, familiar with ETL concepts to apply standards, methods, techniques, and templates as defined by SDLC
- Good to have skills
- Knowledge of other ETL tools, such as-DataStage or ODI preferred
- Exposure to Unix Shell scripting
- Experience in Scheduling such as Control M, Tivoli or Autosys
Your Responsibilities
As an integral part of the development team, you will follow -
- Understanding the requirements of the Functional Team
- Understanding the Technical Design
- Developing the code that aligns with the technical design and coding standards
- Conduct Peer-Code Reviews for early detection of defects and code quality
- Support the testing phase (System Testing, SIT, UAT, Non-Regression Testing) and ensure quick turnaround of defect fixes
- Delivery of secure and clean code that is stable, well tested, operational, consistent and well-performing
- Take part in multiple project discussions
- Ability to handle day-to-day support activities and ETL Admin-related activities.
- Solve ETL jobs and following escalationpartner concerns to resolve the issue
