Assitant Vice President/Vice President - Underwriting - Non-Motor Insurance - General Insurance Firm (9-20 yrs)

Our client is a Leading General Insurance organization having their HO in Mumbai. They are urgently looking to hire an AVP/VP Underwriting for their Non-motor Insurance Business.

The major responsibilities will be:

- Responsible for Underwriting for Non-motor Insurance Business for a Region

- Formulate & Implement Underwriting guidelines

- Lead & Supervise day-to-day underwriting operations

- Conduct underwriting audits and other technical quality review programs

- Recommend creative alternatives in regards to rating plans, coverages

- Manage a Team of 30+ people

To qualify for this position you should :

- 9+ years experience in underwriting

- Knowledge of insurance, products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, funding and rating.

- Exp of Leading an Underwriting team - preferably in Corporate

- Excellent experience in Analytics & Team Mgt

- Good communication

- Be ready to relocate to Mumbai
