Business Analyst/Sales Analyst - FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing Firm

- Our client is a large and growing Indian MNC. They are having multiple factories in India and this mandate is for their Mumbai office

- They are looking to hire a young Business Analyst who will work closely with the Sales Leader for Planning, Operations and Projects.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Support sales operations and connect it to business planning / financial reporting.

- Gather, analyse data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities to drive revenue and contribution margin growth from existing and new customers.

- Analyse and recommend customer level sales strategies to optimize contribution to the company.

- Assist sales leadership and the sales team with Sales Funnel implementation, management, monitoring, accuracy and interpretation of KPI's to optimize growth and profitability.

- Define and monitor KPIs & develop dashboards to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.

- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends.

- Analyse existing business & Sales processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.

- Liaise with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for projects and initiatives.

- Collaborate with Stakeholder to create & improve workflows.

- Assist in planning and execution of strategic projects.

The ideal fit would be a candidate with:

- 3 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Sales Analyst in Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG etc.

- Deep understanding of the sales process and how it impacts businesses

- Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical framework

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Mulesoft and DBMS / BI software

- Be ready to relocate to Mumbai
