Head - Legal - Manufacturing (8-15 yrs)

Role & Responsibilities:

- We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Advocate to join our Legal Department. The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Legal Advisory & Compliance: Provide legal guidance to the company and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

- Litigation Management: Work with external counsel, draft legal responses, and take necessary actions to prevent or handle legal disputes.

- Intellectual Property Protection: Safeguard the company's trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents against misuse.

- Action Against Counterfeit Products: Take legal measures against spurious or unauthorized products in the market.

- Labour Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws, especially concerning the company's three factories.

- Contracts & Regulatory Compliance: Handle contracts, company law matters, commercial law, packaged commodities regulations, and international agreements.

- Government Liaison: Work with regulatory bodies to ensure smooth business operations within legal parameters.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Qualified Solicitor or Advocate with relevant legal experience.

- Minimum 8 years of experience (Candidates with lesser experience may be considered based on merit).

- Strong understanding of Indian courts and legal procedures.

- Ability to read, interpret, and draft legal documents, responses, and pleadings.

- Expertise in company law, labour law, commercial law, and intellectual property rights.

- Familiarity with international contracts and government regulations is a plus.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
