Legal Head

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Legal Leadership:

- Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with business objectives.

- Provide strategic legal advice to the leadership team on critical business initiatives and decisions.

- Assess and mitigate potential legal risks, ensuring smooth business operations.

Corporate Governance:

- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.

- Advise the board of directors on legal matters, corporate structuring, and best practices.

Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, franchisee agreements, lease agreements, and supplier contracts.

- Establish and manage processes for contract approval, renewal, and termination.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:

- Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including FSSAI, labor laws, and local business licenses.

- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting the QSR industry. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance across business operations.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

- Manage legal disputes, consumer grievances, and litigation effectively, minimizing financial and reputational risk.

- Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company in negotiations or court proceedings when required.

Franchisee & Operations Support:

- Develop and enforce franchisee compliance policies, protecting the company's brand and intellectual property.

- Provide legal support for new outlet launches, real estate acquisitions, and lease negotiations.

Team Leadership & Training:

- Build and lead an in-house legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance.

- Provide training to business teams on legal and compliance issues, including anti-bribery, data protection, and contract negotiation.
