The Role

Come join our growing Group Finance team in our Mumbai office! Reporting to the Assistant Manager Accounts Payable based in Mumbai, this role will support the YouGov group in paying our suppliers on time and making it easier for our team to efficiently procure

What will I be delivering?

Match supplier invoices to the relevant PO and ensure that the goods/services have been received before they are paid

Preparing weekly payment runs (multiple currencies)

Invoice query resolution

When processing purchases on behalf of another group entity to input the matching intercompany transactions

Creditor ledger reviews

Suggest ways to improve controls and processes

Supporting internal and external audits

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounts payable domain

Attention to detail to ensure payments are made accurately

Strong communication skills

Strong service orientation/responsiveness

Good Excel skills

Experience working in a finance shared service team

(Preferred)

Dealing with audit questions (Preferred)

Using Six Sigma to improve financial processes (Preferred)

Experience in presenting data analytically (e g

through Power BI)

(Preferred)

Previous experience of using NetSuite (Preferred)

Technical Skills And Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting or related disciplines preferable

Behavioral competencies

Team player

Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines/SLAs, ability prioritize and manage time effectively

Keen to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
