Role Summary:
The Head of Revenue & Growth will lead, align, and oversee all revenue-generating functions, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Success. This role is responsible for driving sustainable business growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving organizational revenue goals. As the key leader in business acquisition and retention, the individual will strategize, implement, and optimize initiatives across departments to maximize revenue and foster long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a cohesive revenue strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and growth objectives.
- Create a unified roadmap for sales, marketing, business development, and customer success teams to ensure collaboration and efficiency.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
Revenue Generation:
- Oversee the end-to-end customer lifecycle, from lead generation to post-sale success.
- Establish revenue goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics for all revenue-driving departments.
- Drive accountability across teams to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Sales Leadership:
- Direct sales strategy, processes, and execution to acquire new business and expand
existing accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-value customers and key stakeholders to close major deals.
- Provide coaching and tools to enhance the sales team's effectiveness.
Marketing Oversight:
- Guide the marketing team to create impactful campaigns, build brand awareness, and generate qualified leads.
- Oversee the development of content, messaging, and positioning strategies that
resonate with target audiences.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure the performance and ROI of marketing initiatives.
Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand the company's reach and market share.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with partners, distributors, and resellers.
- Explore new revenue streams and innovative business models.
Customer Success:
- Foster a customer-centric culture to maximize retention, satisfaction, and referrals.
- Collaborate with customer success teams to develop strategies for renewals, upsells, and long-term loyalty.
- Address and resolve escalated customer issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Team Building & Leadership:
- Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders in sales, marketing, business development, and customer success.
- Create an environment of accountability, innovation, and collaboration among teams.
- Inspire and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals while maintaining alignment with organizational values.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to guide strategic decisions.
- Regularly present revenue forecasts, progress reports, and actionable insights to the executive team.
- Leverage tools and technology to optimize processes and performance across departments.
Key Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in revenue-generating roles, with proven success in leadership positions across sales, marketing, or business development.
Skills:
- Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics software.
