QA Manager - Finacle Testing

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated QA Manager with a strong background in Finacle Testing to lead our testing efforts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the overall quality of our Finacle-based solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to testing effectiveness and efficiency.

• Test Execution & Management:

  • Oversee the execution of all testing phases, including test case design, execution, defect logging, and tracking.

  • Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support on testing methodologies and best practices.

• Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with testing objectives.

  • Effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.

• Quality Assurance Processes:

  • Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes, including defect tracking, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards.

• Finacle Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of Finacle functionalities, architecture, and integration points.

  • Experience in testing various Finacle modules (e.g., Core Banking, Treasury, Payments, etc.).

  • Ability to leverage Finacles testing tools and utilities effectively.

• Automation & Tools:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10-20 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years of experience in Finacle testing.

• Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part ofa team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in testing cloud-based applications.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Certifications in ISTQB, Agile, or Finacle.
