IT Applications Head

- As the Head of IT Applications, this role requires the ability to take full accountability for the entire IT application lifecycle, from strategy to execution, ensuring seamless alignment with the company's business objectives in the manufacturing sector.

- This includes overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company's websites, cloud solutions.

- Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that IT strategies align with business objectives.

- You will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives.

- This role demands cross-functional collaboration with key departments, including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounts, to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Take full accountability for the development and execution of IT strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, particularly within the manufacturing sector.

- Lead the IT Applications function, ensuring robust systems and solutions that enable business growth and operational excellence.

Website Management:

- Manage the development, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the company's websites, ensuring they deliver a seamless user experience and support business goals.

Cloud Solutions & IT Platforms:

- Oversee cloud-based solutions, ensuring they are integrated with both internal and external systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Data Security and Recovery:

- Drive data security strategies and disaster recovery planning, ensuring that business-critical data is well-protected and quickly recoverable in case of any disruptions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with teams from Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounts to ensure IT solutions meet the needs of each function.

- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and the successful implementation of IT initiatives.

Hands-on Execution:

- While strategic in nature, the role requires hands-on execution of IT initiatives, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Actively engage in the execution of key IT projects, offering guidance and technical expertise to ensure successful outcomes.

Digital Transformation & Industry 5.0:

- Lead the company's digital transformation journey, implementing innovative IT solutions and technologies, including Industry 5.0 frameworks, to modernize business processes, customer experiences and improve operational efficiency.

- Stay up to date with advancements in Industry 5.0, integrating human-centric automation, collaborative robotics, AI, and advanced data analytics into the manufacturing process.

New Technology Implementation and Adoption:

- Spearhead the implementation of new technologies and platforms, driving adoption across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in managing IT applications in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong expertise in website management, cloud solutions.

- Solid understanding of data security protocols and disaster recovery planning.

- A track record of leading and delivering on digital transformation initiatives.

- Ability to take full ownership and accountability for IT initiatives, including from the ground level up.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

- Hands-on experience in digital transformation, cloud technologies.

- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
