Procurement Specialist with Business Analysis Experience

The Role

We are looking for a Procurement / Business Operations specialist. You will be responsible for managing the organization's hardware and software procurement. This role is the primary contact with external vendors and coordinates with internal stakeholders to support seamless procurement operations. The emphasis is on requirements gathering, preboarding, contract coordination, and stakeholder management. You will also be required to submit periodical reports on expenditures to the stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, focusing on hardware and software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills.
• Proficiency in GSuite, internal procurement tools like Zip, and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong attention to accuracy and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize procurement needs.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, ensure quality, and minimize risks.
• Research and sometimes identify potential vendors, evaluate their capabilities, and establish relationships for future collaborations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors, maintaining effective communication and fostering positive relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather and consolidate procurement needs.
• Manage the contract workflow using internal tools like Zip/Ramp, ensuring that all contracts are processed, reviewed, and approved promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss procurement needs, review proposals, and make decisions.
• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including order placement, tracking, and expediting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage purchase orders, invoices, and payment procedures.
• Analyze procurement processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams to enhance procurement process efficiency.
