The role will see you join a new, growing proposals team as a Proposal Administrator.  This is great entry level opportunity for someone to build their career in work winning.  Our investment in you brings the opportunity to progress to roles as set out in our Bids and Proposals Pathway such as Proposals Co-ordinator with enhanced responsibilities such as line management.

Core Functions:

Working within our Earth & Environment proposals team you will be:

  • Supporting the implementation our Knowledge Management Strategy
  • Providing administrative support to the production of proposals at all stages of the work wining process, including RFI’s, tenders and presentations.
  • Working with bid teams across the globe to apply WSP’s Business Management System and work winning processes across planning and production applying best practice at all stages.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual. We want someone who is well organised, focussed and adaptable as this role needs a person who can switch easily between planned, routine activities and urgent, reactive ones.

You should have:

  • A degree level qualification in an appropriate subject.  Our preference is for candidates with an English degree but other subjects that require the assimilation and communication of information such as history, marketing and journalism or similar will be considered
  • Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office software
  • Experience of team working as an effective team member
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English

Role responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead, or support colleagues, in the following:

  • Knowledge Management – Play a key role in the implementation of the bids and proposals knowledge strategy, including supporting the development of our knowledge library
  • Knowledge Management – Maintain & connect with different team leads to collect and update relevant information.
  • Knowledge Management – Educate employees to ensure employees understand how to use our tools and knowledge library
  • Bid Production - Providing administrative support to production of responses at all stages of the work winning process, including capture planning, RFI’s, tenders and presentations.
  • Bid Production- Work alongside the team on ad hoc data gathering and client research activities.
