Industry Head - Media & Advertising
- A Large International Advertising & Media Agency is looking for an outstanding Head Media (Automobile Practice).
- This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Automobile media expert to drive outcomes for some of the largest Automobile brands on the planet.
Your Role:
- You will help grow our Automobile Digital media practice.
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing our agency's unique position within the Automobile Media landscape, as well as defining standards and best practices to deliver innovative and flawless digital campaigns.
Job Description:
- Continue growing our Automobile Media team in terms of thought leadership and best practices, as well as the planning and activation of campaigns across Automobile space.
- Interpret client needs, and develop strategic solutions that address the needs and goals for their business; a portion of this role's time will be dedicated to existing clients.
- Lead 1-2 client businesses ensuring all activities across strategy, buying and measurement meet client business objectives and expectations.
- Key lead for client conversations, acts as bridge between media and shopper team for streamlining omni-channel strategies with key automobile partner.
- Overseeing performance forecasts, budget allocations and providing data-based rationale for these recommendations.
- Identifying client issues and opportunities to develop new business opportunities within existing business.
- Partner with agency leads across Creative, Technology, and Strategy to deliver connected commerce plans to our clients and develop industry-leading solutions for the agency.
- Assessing and pursuing new business opportunities, while maintaining and growing the company's existing strengths. Support in any new business pitches and related work as required.
- Keeping a firm pulse on changes to the marketplace and industry, adjusting marketing plans accordingly.
- Understanding and effectively communicating our value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective accounts.
- Partner with Product and Tech teams to evolve advertising offerings and solutions.
Desired Profile:
- 10+ years of digital media experience, 4+ years of Automotive Media experience
- Strong familiarity with the digital environment and a clear understanding of media planning
- Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives.
- Strong understanding of media research tools
- Understanding and experience with campaign automation tools
- Solid quantitative and research skills, and proven data interpretation capability
- Strong ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into search and media strategies.
