JOB DESCRIPTION (Investment Banking background)
STRATEGY:
- Act as an advisor and sounding board to the Founder on key business decisions.
- Run point on AOP & business planning exercises. Conduct periodic FP&A reviews to actively monitor the organizations fiscal health and recommend course-corrections where needed.
- Collaborate with the founders and executive team to develop and implement OKRs, ensuring goal alignment across departments and tracking their timely execution.
- Develop, adopt and refine KPIs. Build a data-first culture by rigorously analyzing business performance data and provide actionable insights to inform executive decision-making.
NEW INITIATIVES:
- Helm key cross-functional initiatives and workstreams with the buy-in of executive stakeholders.
- Drive in-house efforts to identify and develop new revenue channels and opportunities.
- Own any other strategic initiatives or special projects as mandated by the CEO.
- Work closely with the Founder and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and key business priorities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the company's medium-to-long-term goals and value creation.
- Provide critical business insights and analysis to support decision-making at the leadership level.
- Drive strategic initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support category and account-level decision-making.
- Facilitate the preparations and organize collaterals for board meetings, investor presentations, business updates etc. and any other executive-board engagements.
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Postgraduate degree from a premier B-school is a must, with 4 to 8 years of experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, or similar roles.
- A catalyst who is able to efficiently drive alignment, decision-making and informed debate.
- Highly organized, with extensive experience in managing multiple projects across various stakeholders with a demonstrable attention to detail.
- Proven experience in building and managing mid-large teams, and/or directing cross-functional resources.
- Ability to influence without authority and build relationships across the organization.
- A builder by nature with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a very high bar of ownership and accountability. This role is ideal for future founders.
