Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Housekeeping Head to manage and oversee the housekeeping operations across multiple centers in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. This senior leadership role involves managing a team of Housekeeping Managers, Supervisors, and staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and Client service. The Housekeeping Head will drive operational excellence, standardization, and consistency across all locations while managing resources effectively and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage Housekeeping Managers, Supervisors, and staff across multiple centers, providing support and training to maintain high standards.
* Operational Oversight: Coordinate housekeeping activities across locations, ensuring consistency in cleaning standards and procedures.
* Procedure Development: Establish and enforce cleaning, maintenance, and hygiene protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
* Staff Training & Development: Lead training programs for managers and staff, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and client service standards.
* Scheduling & Resource Management: Oversee staffing levels and the allocation of resources (staff and supplies) to meet operational needs.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
* Client Satisfaction: Address Client complaints and special requests related to housekeeping services to ensure high satisfaction.
* Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage the housekeeping budget, including expenses for supplies and labor, optimizing resources to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure staff adherence to safety and sanitation regulations, conducting safety audits and corrective actions when necessary.
* Quality Assurance: Regularly inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Collaboration & Reporting: Work with other departments to resolve challenges and provide regular reports on housekeeping performance to senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Housekeeping Head, Manager, or similar senior role overseeing multiple locations or large facilities.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams across various locations.
* Extensive knowledge of cleaning protocols, hygiene standards, and maintenance practices.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources.
* Flexibility to travel to various locations as required.
* A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
