About the Role:

The facilities manager will be responsible to oversee all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with vendors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records.
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibit high
multitasking and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures
  • Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements
  • Organize and plan building instalments and refurbishments
  • Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external vendors
  • Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
  • Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members
  • Run routine maintenance inspections
  • Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
  • Prepare and implement project budgets and timeframes
  • Support maintenance and instalment work as needed

Market Knowledge

Work experience

  • Should be able to operate from multiple locations across the country
  • Good fluency in local and English speaking and Writing.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
  • Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Contract handling experience
  • Strong attention to detail

Experience:

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in facilities management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Should be proficient in MIS Reports/PPTs/Tally.
