We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with proven expertise in the sanitaryware and tiles industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building long-term client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve sales targets and profitability goals for sanitaryware and tiles products.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share.
Client Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors.
- Address client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and potential areas of growth.
- Provide insights into pricing, product positioning, and marketing strategies.
Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new distributors and channel partners.
- Explore untapped markets and establish a presence in new regions.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management.
- Maintain a database of leads, prospects, and customer interactions.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of sanitaryware and tiles products, industry trends, and customer preferences.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in the sanitaryware and tiles industry, with a proven track record in sales/business development.
Preferred Attributes:
- Existing network of contacts in the industry.
- Experience in managing dealer/distributor networks.
- Ability to travel as required.
