Job Summary

The Hybrid Cloud Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing hybrid cloud infrastructures for enterprise clients. This role involves evaluating business needs and aligning them with the appropriate cloud solutions, integrating on-premise and cloud-based services to create scalable, secure, and efficient hybrid environments. The architect will lead the development and deployment of cloud-based architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, security standards, and the client's unique requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and drive cloud transformation strategies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of hybrid cloud solutions, integrating public and private cloud resources, and on-premise systems.

Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, translating them into technical cloud solutions that drive efficiency, cost savings, and scalability.

Cloud Architecture: Develop cloud architectures that provide high availability, disaster recovery, and disaster recovery plans, ensuring resilience and redundancy in hybrid environments.

Implementation Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring smooth migration, integration, and deployment.

Optimization: Evaluate existing cloud infrastructure and recommend strategies for optimization, focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud architectures adhere to security best practices, industry regulations, and compliance standards, including data encryption, identity and access management, and audit controls.

Collaboration and Guidance: Work closely with other architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective delivery of hybrid cloud projects.

Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging hybrid cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends, providing innovative solutions to meet evolving business requirements.

Training and Mentoring: Provide technical leadership to junior architects and engineers, helping them enhance their skills and supporting their career growth.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud technologies.

Cloud Architecture & Design: Expertise in designing and deploying scalable, high-performance hybrid cloud architectures.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.

Networking: In-depth understanding of cloud networking, including VPC, subnets, VPN, hybrid connectivity, and security groups.

Security: Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, compliance, and vulnerability management.

Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration in hybrid environments.

Databases & Storage: Familiarity with cloud database services (e. g. , RDS, Cosmos DB, BigQuery) and hybrid data storage solutions.

Monitoring & Optimization: Expertise in cloud monitoring tools and performance optimization, ensuring systems are cost-effective and high-performing.

DevOps & CI/CD: Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.

Project Management: Strong ability to manage cloud projects, deliver on time, and meet stakeholder expectations.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant cloud certifications (e. g. , AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions, with at least 2 years in hybrid cloud environments.
Proven experience in managing and leading large-scale hybrid cloud migration projects.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering solutions for enterprise clients.
Prior experience with on-premise technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc. ) and how they integrate with cloud solutions is an advantage.
