Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Web Neural Infotech, you will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems that support AI, ML, and Big Data-driven applications. Your role involves building and maintaining automated monitoring, incident response, and system optimization processes to minimize downtime and enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to balance service reliability with feature development.
This role is open to freshers with strong foundational knowledge in system reliability and experienced professionals eager to work on cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure technologies.
- System Reliability : Design, implement, and maintain systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Monitoring and Alerts : Develop and configure monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Incident Management : Respond to and resolve incidents efficiently, creating postmortem reports to improve future responses.
- Automation : Automate repetitive tasks, such as scaling, deployments, and system recovery, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python scripts.
- Performance Optimization : Analyze and enhance system performance through capacity planning, load testing, and tuning.
- CI/CD Pipeline Support : Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployment workflows.
- Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) : Define, monitor, and maintain SLOs and SLAs to align with business goals.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, incident reports, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaboration : Partner with developers, DevOps, and IT teams to identify and address reliability challenges.
- Monitoring Tools : Proficiency in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, or Datadog for monitoring and alerting.
- Cloud Platforms : Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like EC2, Kubernetes, and Cloud Functions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating infrastructure.
- Scripting and Programming : Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automating workflows and managing incidents.
- Containerization : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices and containers.
- Incident Management : Knowledge of tools like PagerDuty or Opsgenie for managing on-call rotations and incident responses.
- CI/CD Practices : Understanding of continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Networking : Knowledge of DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer , AWS Certified SysOps Administrator , or similar certifications are a plus.
- Experience :
- Freshers with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on projects in system reliability are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or system administration is preferred.
