Job Description
As a Mobile Application Test Engineer at WN Infotech, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include testing mobile apps across various devices and platforms to identify bugs and ensure a smooth user experience. You'll collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve the overall quality of our mobile products.
- Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mobile apps on different operating systems and devices.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Document and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes to ensure high-quality releases.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing to continuously improve our testing methodologies.
- Strong understanding of mobile application testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or XCTest for automated testing.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or HP ALM.
- Solid knowledge of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their respective testing frameworks and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mobile application testing, with at least 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Mobile Application Testing Certification would be a plus.
